Dr. Cobbs Asks some important questions of interest to Bend residents - Chiropractor Bend Dr. Cobbs Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
Can chiropractic relieve PMS?
If you have subluxations, especially in the lower spine that impair nerves that direct and monitor the reproductive and hormonal systems, chiropractic could be helpful. Undetected subluxations may also be responsible for pelvic pain, incontinence, sexual dysfunction and even infertility. Maybe chiropractic can help. Find out!

Introducing Bend Chiropractors Dr. Jeff and Dr. Pam Cobbs

Dr. Jeff Cobbs and his wife, Dr. Pam Cobbs

I love being a Doctor of Chiropractic. I have the opportunity everyday to show up in my office and make a difference in the lives of those I touch and serve. I get to meet all kinds of people with unique life experiences. I get to support, motivate and coach patients as we partner together to achieve their health and wellness goals. Through regular chiropractic care, I can help improve the quality of life of my patients. It’s about a lifetime of wellness.

The decision to become a Chiropractor was a natural extension of who I was becoming as a young man. I took up baseball at age 10, golf at age 12, running and weight training at age 14. Then it was Shotokan karate at age 16, becoming a 1st degree black belt at age 20. When I was 18 I became a personal trainer. While working as an assistant physical therapist I was introduced to chiropractic by a friend. Once I heard what chiropractic was about, I instantly knew it was the next step for me.

I attended Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon from 1981-1985. The course of study is very rigorous and you have to be totally dedicated to successfully completing it. Once you do, you become a member of the largest natural, drug-free healing profession in the world. The Doctor of Chiropractic is a specialist in the detection and correction of vertebral subluxations and the nerve interference they cause. Once the nerve interference is removed the body’s ability to self-heal and self-regulate is restored.

My wife, Dr. Pam Cobbs and I, moved to Bend in December of 2004, after selling our practice in Los Gatos, California. We have three children, Keenan, Corey and Erin. We chose Bend for its inspiring natural beauty, outdoor adventure potential, the change of seasons, clean environment and friendly community.

If drugs made people healthy, if health came from outside of us, then those taking the most drugs would be the healthiest. The facts say otherwise.
